Eclipse GMF - No chickens were harmed

I saw an Eclipse GMF-based editor in action yesterday for the first time - Keith put together a prototype graphical editor - it was very slick. You can now get goodies like automatic undo/redo, grid alignment capabilities, auto-layout, in-place editing, palettes and much more built-in rather than having to code these using GEF. I think this shows how Eclipse is maturing as a platform - the development of plugins may now be a grey-art rather than a black-one. The sign "No chickens were harmed in the making of this plugin" may soon come into vogue.
